Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has signed a deal with Nike. It is the second biggest contract in football history. The annual value is 23 million euros (R$ 126 million), according to The Athletic portal.
Only Neymar has a bigger sponsorship deal, receiving around €26m a year from Puma. The contract was signed by Haaland’s manager, Rafaela Pimenta, who now represents some of the biggest names in world football.

Haaland signs sponsorship deal with Nike in more than 10-year deal
As reported by The Athletic portal, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has signed a sponsorship deal with Nike. This contract is the second largest ever recorded in world football and is expected to last over 10 years, with annual remuneration of around 23 million euros (R$ 126 million). It is important to note that only Neymar has a greater sponsorship contract, worth R$ 142 million per year, with Puma.
Haaland has had no boot sponsorship since the end of his contract with sporting goods supplier Borussia Dortmund in 2021. With Nike, the American company hopes to exploit the young striker’s image as a number 9 reference, just as Ronaldo Fenômeno was for the mark when he was a player.
